Readings & Meanings:
I feed the koi in the pond.
I've got to change my watch battery.
Okay, my mnemonic for this was all screwed up. I thought that the part to the right of the san-zui (the three drops of water on the left) was the same as 世界's 世. It's not. The actual kanji that part comes from is 也. See the difference?
The trouble is, 也 doesn't give us a nice mnemonic. So we'll remember this kanji by remembering another.
地 means earth.
池 means pond.
I can dig it.
