洗 - Before Doing Anything, WASH

Common Usage:

洗い物

Examples:

洗い物は洗濯機に入れておきなさい。

彼は新興宗教に洗脳され、高価な壷を買わされた。

水洗便所が普及して、ドボちょん式の便所が減った。

Translations:

Please put the laundry in the washing machine (for later).

He was brainwashed by the new religion, so he's compelled to buy expensive pottery.

Since flush toilets have spread, the old hole-in-the-ground toilets have become scarce.

Bonus:

San-zui again on the left, so you know it has to do with water. But this kanji comes with a helpful pronunciation guide: on the right of the san-zui is 先, which we know is pronounced like せん. 洗 also has an on-yomi of せん. Convenient.
