Radical:
There's no excuse for misunderstanding this kanji, if you know your radicals. Not one but TWO components refer to extension.
廴, or Ennyou, is on the left. It depicts a leg extending, approaching an object.
(Be careful. Ennyou [廴] is not Shinnyou [辶], the radical for way/road/path.)
On the right, we have 止, which means to stop.
Just above it we have 丿, another extension pictograph, this time of an arm extending to reach out.
Extend, stop, and extend, a kanji palindrome of procrastination and postponement.
